LEARNING WHILE I AM HELPING  VOLUME ll

It seeks to raise awareness campaigns in the educational institutions Universidad de Ibague, Colegio San Bonifacio de las Lanzas, Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Colegio Liceo Nacional and thus strengthen environmental education while practicing the English language. In addition, he wants to innovate in the creation of dynamic activities and games with recyclable material that allows the future teacher to positively impact the society where he performs and lives.​


QUESTION:

How can we raise awareness of environmental issues such as "recycling" to the student community at some Ibague universities and schools through the English language?​

SUB QUESTIONS:

  1. How do you classify daily waste as paper, cardboard, cans, plastic, metal and glass and what is the importance of doing so?  
  2. How do some schools and universities in Ibague handle the recycling process?
  3. Which companies are responsible for garbage handling and recycling in Ibague and how do they do it?
  4. How to teach environmental and recycling issues in the language (English) and what strategies?

OBJECTIVE

To raise awareness about the care of the environment through the recycling process using the English language in the student community.


SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

  1. To invite students to actively participate in the recycling process, providing them with instructions and tips on how to recycle​
  2. ​To educate students about the importance of classifying and disposing of waste.​
  3. To show students how to reuse the material​


FINAL PRODUCT

Our team has decided to make an educational booklet with basic tips on the recycling process, such as sorting, which entities are responsible for recycling and much more information related to the issue.​
In addition, they will be taught through tutorials and dynamic activities, which allow you to approach and interact with the language while recycling at home or at the institution.​
