LAUNCHING THE PROJECT

Last week was an interesting week and full of work, as we had to organize the launch of our project at the University of Tolima.

For weeks I had been preparing for this presentation, that although it was only a pilot test helped us determine what are the factors to improve, which should not be repeated and in which aspects we devote more attention.

Last Thursday during the morning hours we were on the main court of the university exhibiting our project. That day, the whole team was actively participating and organizing the whole stand for the presentation.

Initially we have a stand designed with a box of family size cardboard. In the stand we put all the relevant information of our project such as: the generating question, the objective of the project, the process, showed the activities that had been developed previously and a brief explanation of how to recycle, the importance and How to help from the houses.

Another point is that we carry an exhibition of educational games made with recycled material to show our colleagues and other students all the possibilities that gives us recycling and more in the academic field.

We as teachers in training must be innovators and generators of ideas for those communities where resources are limited. 

Finally, we did an activity designed in English to teach specific vocabulary regarding to recycling to the guests, they participated actively in the activity. Also, at the end of the presentation we received feedfack from our teacher and from our colleagues in a high semester.
